Booking & Retainers

A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure your session date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until both have been received. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice whenever possible.

Sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather, illness, or emergencies at no additional charge. The photographer reserves the right to reschedule sessions if weather conditions are unsafe or do not allow for quality images.

Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to one rescheduled session if notice is provided.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early and ready to begin at your scheduled session time. Late arrivals may result in a shorter session to avoid affecting other scheduled appointments.

Travel Fees

Travel is included for sessions within 20 miles of Rustic Lens Photography. Sessions outside this area may incur a travel fee beginning at $25. Any applicable tolls or parking fees will be added to your invoice.

Photography Style

My photography style focuses on genuine moments, connection, and natural interactions. I'll guide you through poses while encouraging authentic smiles, laughter, and movement to create timeless images.

Children & Pets

Children are always welcome! Their safety and comfort are my top priority. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout the session.

Well-behaved pets are welcome with advance notice. Please bring a leash, water, treats, and someone to assist when they're not being photographed.

Editing Policy

Every final image is professionally edited in the Rustic Lens Photography style. This includes color correction, exposure adjustments, and light retouching.

Extensive edits such as body reshaping, face swapping, changing clothing, or altering physical features are not included and may be subject to an additional editing fee.

RAW (unedited) images are never delivered.

Gallery Delivery

Your completed online gallery will typically be delivered within 1-2 weeks unless otherwise stated. During busy seasons, delivery times may be slightly longer. Sneak peeks may be shared at the photographer's discretion.

Please download and back up your images promptly. Online galleries remain active for a limited time.

Print Release

Your gallery includes a personal print release, allowing you to print your images for personal use. Commercial use, editing, altering, applying filters, or selling images is prohibited without written permission.

For the best print quality, professional print products ordered through your gallery are highly recommended.

Social Media

Feel free to share your images on social media! Please do not crop, heavily edit, or apply filters to the photographs. Credit and leaving a review to Rustic Lens Photography is always appreciated.

Photographer Copyright

Rustic Lens Photography retains the copyright to all images. The photographer reserves the right to use photographs for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes unless a privacy request is made in writing before the session.

Liability

Rustic Lens Photography is not responsible for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the session. Clients assume responsibility for themselves, their children, guests, and pets while attending the session.
